Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace Technologies Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish a 500-acre next-generation manufacturing and testing ecosystem for autonomous combat aircraft.
Triumvir Law advised Flying Wedge Defence on this MoU signing.
The transaction team consisted of Anubhab Sarkar (Managing Partner), Ajay Kumar (Partner), Aishini Mandal (Principal Associate) and Shivali Srivastava (Associate).
Flying Wedge Defence is a private Indian defense and aerospace company that specializes in developing and manufacturing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and other autonomous weapon systems.
The state-of-the-art facility will produce India’s first Autonomous Combat Aircraft as well as the MALE Kaalabhairav, positioning India as a rising exporter of advanced defense technology. The project is also expected to generate approximately 1,000 direct employment opportunities, marking a significant step in India’s aerospace and defense sector.
