Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace Technologies Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish a 500-acre next-generation manufacturing and testing ecosystem for autonomous combat aircraft.

Flying Wedge Defence is a private Indian defense and aerospace company that specializes in developing and manufacturing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and other autonomous weapon systems.

The state-of-the-art facility will produce India’s first Autonomous Combat Aircraft as well as the MALE Kaalabhairav, positioning India as a rising exporter of advanced defense technology. The project is also expected to generate approximately 1,000 direct employment opportunities, marking a significant step in India’s aerospace and defense sector.
