TT&A, AZB, Khaitan act on TVS Capital ₹500 crore investment in Neo Group

The funding round formally places Neo Group among India’s growing list of unicorns that are valued at over $1 billion.

Neo Investment Value Advisors Private Limited has secured ₹500 crore through an equity fundraise from TVS Capital.

AZB & Partners advised TVS Capital on their investment in Neo.

Khaitan & Co advised MUFG Bank, a marquee existing investor in the Neo Group, on this transaction. The firm advised MUFG Bank in the negotiation, finalisation and execution of the restated and amended shareholders’ agreement, and related ancillary advisory in connection with MUFG’s strategic governance rights as a continuing stakeholder during the entry of new institutional capital.

Neo Investment Value Advisorsis a new-age premier wealth and asset management platform in India. 

The funding round formally places Neo Group, which already has global investors like PeakXV and MUFG on its cap table, among India’s growing list of unicorns that are valued at over $1 billion.

The investment by TVS Capital in Neo Investment Value Advisors also marks TVS Capital's first investment in the wealth management sector where the invested capital is intended to accelerate growth and expand the Neo’ knowledge-driven investment solutions within the evolving Indian wealth ecosystem.
