VERTICES PARTNERS advised Raincheck Earth Private Limited on raising $1.2 million in a pre-Series A fundraise from two Japanese investors as well as existing investor AngelList India Syndicate.

The transaction team was led by Vikrant Anand (Partner), with support from Anushree Pathak (Senior Associate) and Nishtha Khandelwal (Associate).

Raincheck Earth Private Limited are the makers of Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin. This gin is distinguished by its use of rainwater and a selection of 12 botanicals sourced from the lush landscapes of Northeast India, including Himalayan juniper, coriander seeds, and Khasi mandarin. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 42.8%, it is designed not only for the palate but also with a commitment to sustainability, as it is packaged in stainless steel bottles.

The Company plans to use the funds for boosting distribution and aid expansion plans.
