Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave was recently in the midst of a controversy as he resigned from the post of President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

Soon after this development, Bar & Bench caught up with the senior lawyer in a freewheeling interview on the reasons behind his resignation, issues regarding listing of cases, and how Supreme Court has been entertaining Article 32 petitions over the past one year.

Two years since the four senior most judges of the Supreme Court expressed concerns regarding listing of cases, the constitution of benches and allocation of matters at the Supreme Court continue to remain unaddressed, Dave opines.
