M Vasudev Rao has joined the Hinduja Group Limited as President - Group General Counsel.

Rao is a 1991 graduate of Guru Ghasidas University. He has completed certification in Leadership in Corporate Counsel at the Harvard Law School.

Rao has 28 years of diverse experience across Financial Services and Regulation, Media & Entertainment, Information Technology and Retail and CSR.

He has previously worked as an in-house counsel at Bennett, Coleman & Co Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited.

Prior to joining the Hinduja Group, Rao was associated with the NSE India for over 11 years, where he held the position of Executive Vice President Group General Counsel & Head CSR for nearly 3 years.
