Aarush Impact is looking to hire litigators and legal researchers in multiple cities.

Positions: One for each location.

PQE: 2-7 Years

Location: Bangalore, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai

Qualification: B.A.LL.B

Job Description

  • Represent victims in all trial proceedings including and not limited to bail, pre-trial, trial, appeal hearings, custody hearings.

  • Conduct legal research and prepare written briefs used to develop case strategy.

  • Draft applications, petitions, and closing arguments to support the Public Prosecutor in all cases.

  • Prepare witnesses for the trial procedures in all cases.

  • Develop and implement litigation plans for each case.

  • Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders.

  • Advise and train government authorities, aftercare homes and other partners on legal issues related to commercial sexual exploitation.

  • Collate data related to all ongoing cases in the provided format.

  • Provide legal opinion as the case develops and suggest actionable.

  • Coordinate with the different verticals of the organisation.

Languages requirements:

For Nagpur: Should know the Marathi language

For Bangalore: Should know the Kannada language

For Kolkata: Should know the Bengali language

For Mumbai: Should know the Marathi language.

Remuneration: Based on experience.
