Senior Associate

Number of Positions: 2 (two)

Experience: 5 – 10 years

Location: Navin’s Apartment, Nandanam Extension, Chennai

Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to understand relevant laws, precedents, and regulations related to the case.

• Drafting legal documents including petitions, affidavits, and written statements

• Attending court hearings and assisting in court proceedings

• Liaising with clients and providing legal advice

• Maintaining case files and updating case status 

• Candidate should be proficient in civil, criminal, family, IPR, commercial litigation matters before the district, High Court, and Supreme Court.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts and arguments.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a client-centric approach to legal representation and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

• Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior team members and leading by example.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Associate

Number of Positions: 2 (two)

Experience: 3 – 5 years

Location: Defence Colony, New Delhi

Job Description

• Assistance in litigation work for the district court and High Court.

• Should be willing to work hard sitting up late in the evening making notes/ briefs for the senior.

• The individual should be sufficiently experienced in litigation and should accompany the senior, be respectful and completely render his assistance as /when required.

• He/ she should prepare briefs, and case files, thereby assisting the senior and researching on various judgements/ search engines.

• The individual is further expected to meet requirements such as continuous learning, in-depth research, perfection in note-making, wisdom, intelligence, common sense and most importantly an intuitive/ out-of-box original thought process while indulging in discussions with the senior.

• Candidates should have good communication skills (both oral and written) and associates having good experience in drafting/ client handling, research and court appearances would be given preference. 

• There would also be others in the office; the individual is expected to work in such manner conducive to the office atmosphere.

• His/ her commitment would be rewarded graciously at the end of each month and the credibility of the individual would also be gauged on a timely basis.

• Those candidates who have cleared the AIBE exam and registered with the Bar Council of India would be given preference. 

• More inclination would be shown to those who wish to stay in litigation for years with a steady mind. 

Skill and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Good drafting and writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
