SDS Advocates are looking to hire one Senior Associate and one Associate for their corporate team (non-litigation) in Mumbai.
Number of Positions: 2 (Two)
Senior Associates – 1 position
Associate – 1 position
PQE: 1-2+ years (excluding internships)
Senior Associate - minimum 2+ years in law firm
Associate - minimum 1 year in law firm
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: BBA/ BA. LLB from a reputed college.
Corporate Team (non-litigation), primarily in the following areas of law:
Banking and Finance,
Fintech,
Mergers,
IBC,
AIF & allied SEBI Regulations;
Structured Finance;
General Corporate;
Family Offices/Estate Planning;
Digital Personal Data Protection;
Due Diligence (SME/IPO)
NCDS and CCDs issuance/Investment Laws
Digital Lending; and
other transaction advisories and research.
Including but not limited to:
Drafting/Vetting of various transactional agreements;
Drafting opinions;
Responsible for transaction handling;
Research on various areas of laws;
Client handling and meetings;
Negotiation;
Team building and knowledge sharing;
Tracking Updates and preparing the same for the firm
Candidates with following will be preferred:
Past Experience: Candidate with past Law firm working experience (non-litigation) in general corporate, banking and finance, real estate and transaction team;
Skill set: Passionate, dependable, responsible, dynamic, Sound Knowledge of law, Team Leadership, Team player, out of box thinker, sound be smart and have great communication skills.
Hiring will be on a retainership basis
Senior Associate: INR 7.2 lakh per annum
Associate: INR 6 lakh per annum
Yearly bonus will be paid separately and can be discussed during the interview.
