Ramya Hariharan, who had set up Argus Partners with Krishnava Dutt, has resigned from the firm to set up her own practice. In 2012, Argus Partners had merged with Mumbai based law firm Udwadi & Udeshi to form Udwadia Udeshi & Argus Partners with Krishnava Dutt as the Managing Partner.

Krishnava confirmed to Bar & Bench that Ramya has moved on and he said, “we wish her all the best”.

Ramya, who graduated from University of Calcutta, had initially worked with Sinha & Co. for two years after which she joined Amarchand Mangaldas in 2004.

After five years at Amarchand’s Calcutta office, she set up Argus Partners along with Krishnava Dutt in Kolkata in 2009. She later moved to Mumbai to set up the Argus Mumbai office in 2010.
