AZB Partner, Shreyas Jayasimha leaves firm; Establishes “Aarna Law” in Bangalore

Shreyas Jayasimha, Partner at AZB & Partners’ Bangalore office, has left the firm to found “Aarna Law”. The NLSIU graduate (Class of 2000) was Partner at the firm for nearly five years before deciding to leave the firm. Sources at the firm have confirmed Shreyas’ depature. When contacted, Shreyas declined to comment, although his linkedin profile indicates that he is now the Founder at Aarna Law.

After graduating from NLSIU, Bangalore in 2000, Shreyas spent a year each in the chambers of S Muralidhar (who is now a judge of the Delhi High Court) and the office of Jayaram and Jayaram. In 2003, the son-in-law of Senior Advocate S.S. Naganand and son of Justice R. Jayasimha Babu (who he counts as his mentor), branched off on his own to start Jayasimha Law Chambers before eventually joining AZB as Partner in 2008.

At the time of going to press, no details were available about Aarna Law.
