Set up in 2015 by Azmul Haque, Singapore-based law firm Collyer Law has strengthened its India practice with the addition of Aritra Roy and Khyati Raniwala.
Aritra Roy has joined Collyer Law as a Senior Associate in the Corporate & India Desk teams effective April 2019. Roy will focus on a range of cross-border corporate matters including Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Joint Ventures.
Roy is India-qualified with 5 years PQE and was formerly a Senior Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, based in Delhi. Roy has been involved in advising high-value clients across industries, such as PayTM in relation to the investment by Alibaba Group, and Walmart in its acquisition of a majority stake in Flipkart. Roy is a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur.

Khyati Raniwala has joined Collyer Law as a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Arbitration team and India Desk effective June 2019. Khyati will focus on a range of disputes advisory and arbitration matters, including contractual disputes, employment disputes, shareholder conflicts, as well as alternative dispute resolution.
Khyati is a Singapore-qualified disputes lawyer with 5 years PQE, and joins from the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), where she was an Associate Counsel in the SIAC Secretariat. Khyati has extensive prior experience in the application of various versions of the SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules, UNCITRAL Model Law, the Singapore International Arbitration Act and Arbitration Act in over 200 arbitrations (involving individuals, state-owned & private entities). Prior to SIAC, Khyati spent 2 years in a boutique Singapore law practice with a focus on commercial litigation.
