Sanyal joins the firm as Chief Risk, Audit & Compliance Officer and Shukla as Chief Digital Officer

Abhishek Sanyal joins Khaitan & Co as the Chief Risk, Audit & Compliance Officer to spearhead the firm’s compliance and risk strategy, and Rohit Shukla comes on board as the Chief Digital Officer to lead key digital initiatives.

With twenty years of experience in risk, audit and compliance functions, Sanyal has held leadership positions in various multinational banking and financial services organizations. His expertise has been to design and implement effective risk, audit, and compliance frameworks, complemented by efficient processes that result in intuitive products, a focused team, engaged clients and partners.

Shukla specializes in legal tech, digital transformation, technology product development, project management, and leveraging technology for cost and client service improvements. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Legitquest, a legal-tech start-up.
