Anirban Mohapatra rejoins Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai

Mohapatra was previously a Partner at CAM's Bengaluru office.

Anirban Mohapatra has rejoined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in its Technology, Media, Telecommunications (TMT) Practice in Mumbai.

Mohapatra is a 2010 graduate of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.

He has over 14 years of experience in the technology space advising several MNCs as well as Indian clients on various aspects of technology law across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, online gaming, BFSI, Telecom and e-commerce. His expertise extends from advising clients on large turnkey technology services contracts, structuring novel technology product and service offerings, strategising intellectual property protection, technology transfer and collaboration agreements as well as strategic M&A in the technology space. He has advised several companies such as Amazon, Google, Apollo, Dream11, JSW and Tata Group on various technology matters.

Mohapatra had joined erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas in 2012. He had also worked with CAM from 2019-2024, where he served as a Partner for 2 years. Prior to his return to CAM, he served as a Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon.
