Chakrabarti sits out of the firm's Kolkata office and Kachwalla is in Mumbai

Pooja Chakrabarti and Murtaza Kachwalla of Argus Partners join the firm's equity partnership.

Chakrabarti is a 2008 graduate from Symbiosis International University and also holds BCL from University of Oxfrod in 2014.

With 16 years of experience, Chakrabarti has varied experience spanning commercial litigation, public interest litigation, rbitration, banking constitutional law real estate and IP matters.

She began her career at Paras Kuhad & Associates where she worked for over 3 years before joining Amarchand Mangaldas. She was associated with the erstwhile Udwadia Uddeshi & Argus Partners since December 2011 and has been with the firm for over 11 years before being elevated to equity partnership.

Kachwalla is a 2009 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai and has a Masters in Business Laws from NLSIU, Banglore.

With over 14 years of experience, he commands expertise in commercial litigation and real estate matters with a focus on matters pertaining transfer of property and conveyancing. He has been with the firm for the past 4 years before being elevated to the firm's equity partnership. Prior to this, he has worked with HSA Advocates, ALMT Legal, and Mulla & Mulla.
