Arijit Tiwari has joined the Singapore office of Ashurst as a Partner in Global Loans & Global Markets practice.
Tiwari is a 2008 graduate of National Academy of Legal Studies & Research University, Hyderabad.
He has 15 years of experience in derivatives and structured products. His practice covers structured notes, warrants and certificates linked to indices, equities, funds, commodities and credit, as well as multi-asset issuance programmes and regulatory advice.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Tiwari was associated with Simmons & Simmons for over three years. His past engagements include stints at JP Morgan, Clifford Chance, Deutsche Bank and UBS Investment Bank.
On Tiwari's joining, Jean Woo, Singapore office managing partner, commented,
