Burgeon Law announces three 'Work-From-Home & Remote Working Clusters' spanning 5 weeks in 2023

These clusters are scheduled for June, November, and December, and will last for one to two weeks each.

Burgeon Law, the law firm that previously announced a 5-day work-week and a 2+3 hybrid working model in September 2022 to encourage work-life balance, has taken another significant step towards prioritizing employee well-being by introducing three “Work-From-Home & Remote Working Clusters” spread over five weeks in 2023.

These clusters are scheduled for June, November, and December, and will last for one to two weeks each, enabling team members to work from home or remotely in a location of their choice. This will give them the opportunity to spend time with their families, pursue their hobbies or interests, and explore new work environments.

The announcement comes in light of the firm’s philosophy of supporting their team members to enhance relationships with their families and loved ones, and provide more time for hobbies and interests.

Roma Priya, Founder of the firm, shares,

“At Burgeon Law, we want the work to be challenging, but not overwhelming. Achieving life-work balance is a steady process and all of us need to make the conscious decision to achieve balance. The time I spend off-work has a positive impact on increasing my productivity at work and I want to provide my team with this opportunity to achieve balance. Since family relationships have a critical impact on wellbeing and mental health, these ‘Work-From-Home & Remote Working Clusters’ will provide greater opportunity for my team to enhance communication and interaction with their families.”

An avid traveler and a staunch supporter of pursuing one’s interests, Priya further adds,

“My vision for Burgeon eventually is that the team members do not remain tied to their desks. Instead, they have the freedom – choosing to work out of the comfort and warmth of homes or to work while exploring the wonders that our world has to offer.”

In addition to the Work-From-Home & Remote Working Clusters, Burgeon Law already observes Mondays and Fridays as “Work-from-Home” days every week. The firm has chosen the cluster periods with family vacations and festivities (Diwali, Christmas, and New Year) in mind. The first cluster is a two-week period in June, followed by one-week clusters in November and a two-week period in December.
