Former Principal Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mitali Mehta has re-joined Desai & Diwanji as a Partner in the Corporate Practice.

This is Mehta's second innings at Desai & Diwanji, having first worked with the firm from 2009 to 2012.

With over 14 years of experience in advising a wide range of clients on private equity and M&A transactions across various sectors including pharma, financial services, infrastructure, etc, Mehta was with the Mumbai office of Amarchand Mangaldas (and thereafter Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas) for 9 years after her first stint at Desai & Diwanji.

Prior to Mehta's first stint at Desai & Diwanji, she worked with Crawford Bayley & Co. for over 2 years.

This is Desai & Diwanji’s fifth partner induction since April 2021.

The other Partners inducted since the April 2021 include – Smriti Mehta, Rini Mitra, Varun Kalsi and Mahesh Wasadikar.

While Smriti was an Associate Partner with the firm before her elevation to partnership, Mitra and Wasadikar joined laterally from CAM and Kalsi from PSA.
