CAM Finance Partner Garima Shahani moves to SAM

Shahani will be working out of SAM's New Delhi office.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Finance Partner Garima Shahani has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner in the Banking and Finance Practice in New Delhi.

Shahani is a 2015 alumna of National Law University, Jodhpur. She earned her LLM from New York University School of Law in 2018.

Shahani is a dual-qualified (India and New York) debt finance lawyer with over eight years of experience advising leading banks, NBFCs, multilateral financial institutions as well as private credit funds and leading companies on both onshore and offshore financings. She has extensive experience in cross-border financings, external commercial borrowings, acquisition financings, margin loan financings, real estate financings, construction financings, and trade financings.

Prior to joining SAM, Shahani was a Partner at CAM for a year. Her previous engagements include stints at Linklaters Singapore and Trilegal.
