SAM's Debashree Dutta and AZB's Roopali Singh join Vritti Law Partners as Co-Founding Partners

With Singh joining, Vritti Law Partners is also inaugurating its New Delhi office.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Debashree Dutta and AZB & Partners Partner Roopali Singh have joined Vritti Law Partners as Co-Founding Partners.

Dutta is a graduate of the ILS Law College and holds an LLM in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford. She started her career with ICICI Bank and later moved to AZB & Partners. In 2016, she joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

Dutta is a finance lawyer who has a wide range in banking and finance practice with special expertise in project financing in infrastructure sectors, acquisition and structured financings, loan portfolio acquisitions and securitizations, private credit, real estate financings. fintech and debt restructuring and insolvency.

Dutta will be based out of Vritti's Mumbai office.

Singh is a 2004 graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She joined AZB & Partners in 2013 from Dua Associates.

She is a disputes lawyer with nearly two decades of experience in international, commercial and domestic arbitrations, corporate and commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency matters, and white-collar crime. She has represented top corporations, private equity funds and government and state-owned entities at some of the world's leading fora and institutions.

With Singh joining, Vritti Law Partners is also inaugurating its New Delhi office.

Earlier this year, former AZB Partners Shameek Chaudhuri and Arvind Ramesh joined hands to start Vritti Law Partners.
