Khaitan Capital Markets Partner Devi Prasad Patel joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

Patel will be working out of the firm's New Delhi office.

Devi Prasad Patel has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner in Capital Markets Practice at the firm’s New Delhi office.

Patel is a 2012 graduate of Amity Law School, Noida. He holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.

Patel has almost ten years of experience in representing issuers and underwriters across a range of equity capital markets transactions including initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues and qualified institutions placements (QIPs) with a focus on drafting and review of legal documents and agreements, legal due diligence and collaboration with senior management of issuers, investment banks and auditors.

In his diverse career, he has advised on Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Qualified Institutions Placement (QIPs), Rights Issues and Preferential Allotments.

Prior to joining SAM, Patel served as a Partner at Khaitan & Co (Delhi), where he dedicated almost six years to his practice and was previously associated with SAM & Co (Delhi) for four years.
