Dhrupad Vaghani, Co-Founder and former partner at Lex Aeterna Practices (LEAP), has exited the firm, taking with him a core group of team members to establish Anchorstone Legal, a modern full-service law firm.

Anchorstone Legal launches with a strong foundation in litigation, insolvency, and corporate advisory services, and has further strengthened its offerings by onboarding partners with niche expertise in Real Estate, Commercial Litigation, and Corporate Law, creating a robust and multidisciplinary platform geared toward today’s dynamic legal challenges.

Anchorstone Legal is embarking on its journey with a team comprising three partners, one associate partner, three senior associates, and five associates.

The firm will operate from its Mumbai office, with plans for pan-India expansion.

Vaghani is a legal professional with deep expertise in Banking & Finance, Insolvency, and Dispute Resolution. He has advised and represented leading financial institutions, resolution professionals, corporates, and investors in high-value, complex matters involving debt recovery, restructuring, distressed asset resolution, and commercial litigation. His work spans proceedings before the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLAT and NCLT and other judicial and regulatory forums.

On launching Anchorstone Legal, Vaghani shared,

"“My journey at Lex Aeterna was instrumental in shaping my legal outlook and leadership ethos. As we now embark on the next chapter with Anchorstone Legal, the vision is clear—to build a firm that is principled, progressive, and deeply client-focused. Anchorstone is not just a name; it reflects our commitment to being a foundation of strength and clarity for our clients. We are dedicated to delivering high-impact legal solutions with intellectual rigour, commercial awareness, and unwavering integrity.

We’re building a firm where collaboration, consistency, and clarity are non-negotiable. The name Anchorstone itself reflects our goal—to be a legal foundation clients can rely on through volatility and complexity."
