EROS Media World General Counsel Bishwarup Chakrabarti has joined Dentsu India as General Counsel - South Asia.

Chakrabarti is a 2002 graduate of Department of Law, University of Calcutta. He earned his LLM in Business Laws from National Law School of India University in 2005.

With over two decades of experience, Chakrabarti has operated both as a litigation lawyer and an in-house counsel. His expertise spans corporate law, compliance, risk management, intellectual property and regulatory affairs across diverse industries, including technology, media, and e-commerce.

Prior to joining Dentsu India, Chakrabarti served as the General Counsel of EROS Media World. In the past, he has also been associated with Sony Pictures Networks and Viacom18 Media.
