Ex-SIAC lawyer Piyush Prasad joins WongPartnership as Counsel

Before relocating to Singapore, Piyush was part of the dispute resolution team at L&L Partners in Delhi.

Piyush Prasad has joined Singapore-based international law firm WongPartnership LLP as Counsel (Foreign Law).

Prasad is a 2011 graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur. He pursued an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School.

He was most recently a counsel at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and is an experienced lawyer specializing in cross-border disputes.

Prior to joining WongPartnership, Piyush, who is qualified to practice law in India and New York, worked closely with President of the SIAC Court of Arbitration Gary Born and other SIAC Court members. He was also part of the Secretariat Sub-Committee on the revision of the SIAC Rules, 2016.

Before relocating to Singapore, Piyush was part of the dispute resolution team at L&L Partners in Delhi, where he assisted clients in formulating pre-dispute strategies and represented them before the Indian courts and arbitral tribunals.
