[Exclusive] Flipkart Vice-President and General Counsel Bijoya Roy to join Pernod Ricard as General Counsel for South Asia

She has previously worked with Tata Housing Development Company, Asian Paints, Kodak Eastman and Thomson Reuters.

Flipkart Vice-President and Group General Counsel Bijoya Roy is leaving to join Pernod Ricard as General Counsel for South Asia.

Roy confirmed the development to Bar & Bench, but declined to comment at this stage. She will take up the new role on April 12, 2021.

Roy is a 2002 graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in EC competition law from King’s College, London.

She has previously worked with Tata Housing Development Company, Asian Paints and Kodak Eastman.

In 2007, Roy joined Thomson Reuters, where she was working as General Counsel – Global Growth Organization. In 2019, she relocated to Bangalore to join Walmart-acquired Flipkart.
