Prateek Desai quits Trilegal to join Khaitan & Co as Partner

Desai will be part of Khaitan's Corporate and Commercial (Debt) practice group.

Prateek Desai has left Trilegal to join Khaitan & Co as a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial (Debt) practice group at the firm's Noida office.

Desai is a 2011 graduate of the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar. He completed his LL.M. in Business Laws from National University of Singapore in 2012.

Desai specializes in banking, finance and private credit, and regularly advises Indian corporates, credit funds, financial sponsors, multi-national banks and multilateral financial institutions in their structured credit transactions. He advises in the oil and gas, real estate, pharmaceuticals, technology, financial services, specialty chemicals, power, transportation, and infrastructure sectors.

Welcoming Desai to the firm, Executive Director, Human Resources Amar Sinhji said in a press release,

“Prateek will be a great addition to our firm and specifically in strengthening our Corporate (Debt) practice in the NCR. We welcome him to our Khaitan & Co Family.”
