Geetanjali Mehlwal has joined IndiaLaw LLP as a Senior Consultant.

Mehlwal is a 2002 alumna of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She earned her LLM in Intellectual Property Rights, Commerce & Licensing from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. She also holds a Diploma in Information Technology Laws.

A practicing lawyer before the Supreme Court of India and a distinguished legal consultant specialising in intellectual property, entertainment law, and new-age media advisory, Mehlwal brings a unique blend of legal expertise and creative industry experience to the Firm.

With a strong foundation in IP due diligence, transactional advisory, and cross-border media mandates, she has advised a diverse portfolio of Indian and international clients across the entertainment and digital ecosystem.

Her professional journey is marked by a rare convergence of law and creativity. In addition to her legal practice, she has made significant contributions to the media and entertainment industry as a writer and producer. 

Mehlwal is also actively engaged in public discourse on legal and policy developments, frequently contributing her insights on contemporary issues, including governance and legislative reforms.
