JSA loses another Equity Partner as Ambarish set to rejoin Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

JSA Equity Partner Ambarish has resigned from the firm to rejoin Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) & Co, according to reliable sources.

Confirming Ambarish's resignation, JSA Joint Managing Partner Vivek K Chandy said,

"Iqbal Khan's team, which has resigned, includes some of his team members such as Ambarish who joined with Iqbal from SAM.”

Ambarish had joined JSA in June 2024, along with Khan and team. As reported by Bar & Bench yesterday, Khan is moving to Cyril Amarchand along with two partners.

Ambarish has previously served as an Equity Partner at SAM and had been with the firm for 16 years. He specialises in transactions involving listed companies and SEBI-related matters. He also has a significant Japanese practice.
