J. Sagar Associates (JSA) Equity Partner Divyanshu Pandey and Partner Arpita Garg have resigned from the firm to join S&R Associates.

It is understood that some of their team members are also moving with them to S&R.

Both Divyanshu and Arpita are partners in the Finance Practice at JSA.

Confirming the development, S&R Partner Sandip Bhagat said,

"We welcome the team to the firm. They are an important addition to our firm and will help strengthen our existing service offerings to our clients, including in banking, finance and restructuring."

Divyanshu joined JSA after returning from a long stint in the United Kingdom and has been with the firm for more than a decade.

On his decision to leave the firm, Divyanshu said,

I have mixed feelings, for the journey with JSA has been for a good ten years and I will certainly miss the wonderful people who make the firm what it is.

Arpita has been with JSA since 2010. Before joining JSA, she was working with ICICI Bank Limited, Mumbai in its Corporate Legal Department.
