Karanjawala & Co elevates Tahira Karanjawala to Partnership

In 2020, Karanjawala had qualified as an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India, ranking 1st in the AoR Examination of 2019.

Karanjawala & Co has promoted Tahira Karanjawala as its 11th Partner in the firm with effect from August 24, 2023.

Karanjawala is a 2010 graduate of the Amity Law School. She holds an LLM from Columbia University.

With over 12 years of experience, she specializes in dispute resolution, handling civil and commercial cases in various Indian courts, including the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court, as well as before arbitral tribunals. Her expertise encompasses company disputes, contractual issues, property and real estate litigation, arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy, and mining law.

In 2020, she qualified as an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India, ranking 1st in the AoR Examination of 2019. Her achievements include a Gold Medal from the Supreme Court's Board of Examiners, a Certificate of Honour from the Mukesh Goswami Memorial Fund, and the P.R. Kumaramangalam running trophy and O.P. Malhotra Award.

Prior to her elevation to Partnership, Karanjawala was associated with the firm for over 13 years.
