L&L Partners' Rudresh Singh to join Trilegal's Competition team

Singh's joining will take Trilegal's partnership strength to 80 lawyers.

Adding to the exits from L&L Partners following the dissolution of its litigation arm, Rudresh Singh is slated to join Trilegal in its Competition Law practice.

Singh is a graduate of National Law University Lucknow and has an LL.M. from University of Michigan Law School in 2012. He has over 12 years of experience in competition law and antitrust matters, including significant experience in both merger control and behavioural matters before competition law authorities.

He has successfully represented companies in merger control matters, operating in different sectors, including private equity and other institutional investors. Singh advises clients in relation to ongoing cartel investigations across sectors. He also continues to represent clients in ongoing investigations and potential filings before the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

Prior to Singh's nine-year long stint with L&L Partners, he was with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP in New York for over a year. Singh has also previously worked with Linklaters.

On his joining the firm, Partner and member of the management committee at Trilegal Sridhar Gorthi said,

Singh's joining will take Trilegal's partnership strength to 80 lawyers.

Most recently, the firm hired Pranav Atit in its Corporate practice. In the last quarter, it promoted six counsel across various practices, besides hiring Anuj Berry and Vishrov Mukerjee as Partners from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and J Sagar Associates respectively.
