Monika Dhingra has joined ReNew as Senior Vice President - Legal.

Dhingra brings to ReNew nearly three decades of extensive legal experience, with a strong focus on the power and energy sector. Her core areas of expertise include corporate law, complex litigation, contract management, regulatory affairs, project development, and mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to joining ReNew, she held senior legal leadership roles at ACME Group and Fortum India, the Indian arm of Finnish energy major Fortum Oyj.

At Fortum, Dhingra played a pivotal role in managing the company’s legal, regulatory, litigation, and M&A strategies. She led high-stakes litigation matters, oversaw complex contractual negotiations, and ensured legal compliance across business operations. She was also instrumental in Fortum’s strategic exit from India, which involved the successful sale of its renewable assets to Hexa Climate, backed by I Squared Capital, New York.

In her new role at ReNew, Monika will bring her deep domain expertise to support the company’s continued growth in the clean energy space.
