Obhan Mason announces annual promotions: Mehak Dhingra made Partner

Obhan Mason has announced its annual promotions, elevating Mehak Dhingra to partnership.

Dhingra has over nine years of experience in the field of IP, with special expertise in the Trademark oppositions and Trademark Strategy. She works closely with several Fortune 500 companies, universities, and start-ups, as well as domestic and international clients across varied industries, to protect and enforce their IP.

Her expertise and specialties include prosecution, infringement litigation and portfolio management; and working out amicable resolutions/settlements in contentious proceedings. She is also actively involved in the litigation matters in courts, appellate tribunals, and boards for trademarks matters.

The firm has also made two Associate Partners – Arzu Chimni and Ayesha Guhathakurta.

Arzu Chimni, Ayesha Guhathakurta

Chimni has over a decade of experience in data protection, technology law and intellectual property. She advises Indian and international clients on navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with data protection laws including the DPDP Act and GDPR, and brings a nuanced understanding or emerging technologies and digital risk.

Guhathakurta focuses on IP rights, primarily trademark, patent and design rights. She is experienced in research and legal drafting, and predominantly focuses on litigation, research and strategic advice.
