Prakash Kakkad has been appointed the Chief Legal Officer and Group CS of Unilever, UK, post the exit of Maria Varsellona.

Kakkad is a 2008 alumnus of King's College London.

He is senior legal and governance executive with extensive experience operating in complex, global organisations. He works closely with Boards and executive leadership teams, leading multi-jurisdictional legal teams and partnering across businesses to support growth, manages risk and protects long-term value.

Kakkad has been associated with Unilever, UK, for the past two years, and was serving in the capacity of General Counsel Corporate and Deputy Group Secretary.
