Prasad Subramanyan has joined Matrix Partners India as a General Counsel.

Subramanyan is a 2012 graduate of Christ University, Bangalore.

He specializes in handling complex cross border transactions with a special focus on exchange control compliance and advising on structuring governance in early to mid-stage venture capital / private equity funded companies. In addition, he has experience in structuring, setting up and executing India and offshore private equity and venture capital funds and procuring relevant registration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

Prior to joining Matrix Partners India, Subramanyan was associated with Rajaram Legal for 6 years, where he held the position of a Partner for 4 years.
