Sameer Panda has joined Sagar Chandra & Associates as a Partner in the Patents Designs practice.

A seasoned IP strategist, innovator, and entrepreneur, Sameer brings over two decades of experience ranging from founding ventures and leading R&D at Tata Motors to pioneering award- winning innovations recognized by NASA Tech Brief, the Department of Science & Technology(Government of India), NITI Aayog, and NRDC.

His career spans key roles at top-tier IP law firms and corporate leadership in IPR management, culminating in his founding of TJ Tyres, creator of the world’s only BPPC tyre that prevents bursts, cures puncture, balances itself, and improves fuel efficiency.

Sameer’s expertise includes portfolio strategy, cross-border protection, licensing, enforcement, and instilling innovation cultures, a compelling addition to the firm’s capability to deliver strategic, business-oriented IP solutions in India and globally.

Sameer holds a Master of Business Law (MBL) from the National Law School of India University and is a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst (CPVA) from the Business Development Academy, adding depth to his legal and commercial IP expertise.
