Singapore-based law firm Oon & Bazul LLP has announced the appointment of Sngeeta Rai as a Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice.

Rai was previously a Director at Davinder Singh Chambers LLC, where she advised on commercial disputes alongside the Senior Counsel. She has represented listed companies and high-net-worth individuals in contractual and shareholder disputes, property and inheritance matters, medical negligence claims and defamation proceedings.

She began her career as a Justices’ Law Clerk to the Chief Justice and Judges of the Supreme Court of Singapore and later served as an Assistant Registrar. She has also undertaken an overseas attachment at Fountain Court Chambers, London and is an accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. In addition, she mentors candidates preparing for the Singapore Bar Examinations.
