Saraf and Partners appoints and promotes 16 lawyers; celebrates first anniversary

9 of the 16 lawyers promoted are women. The firm also revealed that the gender ratio for its campus recruits in 2022 was 50:50.

Saraf and Partners recently held an Annual Day program to celebrate its one-year anniversary.

The firm promoted and appointed 16 lawyers across practice areas, including Ankur Khandelwal and Anugrah Robin Frey, who joined the firm as Partners from Kocchar & Co and L&L Partners respectively.

Khandelwal was heading the disputes team at Kocchar & Co, while Frey was with L&L Partners for over 5 years as Partner Designate.

The firm also appointed former Partner at Gaggar & Partners Neha Mishra and elevated Arunav Guha Roy and Satyadarshi Kunal as Partner Designates.

5 lawyers were promoted and appointed to Principal Associate and 6 to Senior Associates.

The newly elevated and appointed lawyers are:

Debarpan Ghosh (formerly Senior Associate at L&L Partners) and Navomi Koshy, Nishtha Chaturvedi, Sanya Sud and Swetha Shankaran (S&P) were appointed and promoted to Principal Associate

The firm also promoted 6 of its lawyers to Senior Associate. They are Anina D’Cunha, Ayushi Harsh, Chhavi Jain, Keshav Pareek, Nastassia Khurana and Siddharth H Mataliya to Senior Associate.

Addressing the firm during the annual day celebrations, Founder & Managing Partner Mohit Saraf said,

The firm now has 34 partners and 180 lawyers in all. To accommodate the doubled strength, the firm recently shifted to a new office space of 18,000 sqft. in Mumbai. It also expanded its head office to 20,000 sqft. premises in Delhi NCR, earlier this year.
