Saraf and Partners has strengthened its corporate practice by hiring Sachit Mathur, Ajay Bhadu and Astha Singh Trehan as Partners in its Real Estate practice, and Sagar Manju as a Partner in its Insolvency & Restructuring practice.

Mathur will be the lead Partner for its pan-India Real Estate practice. He is a 2005 graduate of Delhi University and was with L&L Partners since 2006. He left L&L to start his own real estate specialised firm, Emerald Law Office.

Ajay Bhadu is a 2012 graduate of GNLU, Gandhinagar and was formerly an Associate Partner at Desai & Diwanji.

Astha Singh Trehan is a 2012 graduate of Rajiv Gandhi National Law University and was also with L&L Partners for close to 7 years.

Both Bhadu and Singh previously worked as Partners at Mathur's Emerald Law Office.

Sagar Manju is a 2011 graduate of GNLU, Gandhinagar and has over a decade of experience in the Banking & Finance and Insolvency & Bankruptcy practice. He was earlier associated with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas at their Mumbai offices.

On the new additions to the firm, Saraf and Partners’ Founder & Managing Partner Mohit Saraf commented,

Over 14 years Sachit has spent at L&L; he has worked very closely with me. He and his team members were mentored by me, and it was unfortunate to watch them leave, but I am glad that everyone has decided to join Saraf and Partners. On the other hand, I have observed Sagar during some of our mutual transactions and was impressed with his skills and passion. Having him onboard definitely boosts up our Insolvency & Restructuring practice."

Since the establishment of Saraf & Partners in July 2021, its total strength has increased from 100 to 150 lawyers, with a total partner count of 26.

A month back, Manmeet Singh had joined S&P as a Partner in its Litigation practice.
