Shagoofa Khan has joined AZB & Partners as a Senior Partner at Mumbai to lead the firm's Funds practice.

Khan is a 2002 graduate of the University of Mumbai. She is a member of both The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

She has nearly 25 years of experience across structuring funds, managed accounts, infrastructure investment trusts, fund documentation, exits, international taxation and planning.

In the past, she has worked with law firms such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Nishith Desai Associates, and as an in-house lawyer with Kotak Investment, Tata Services, IDFC Alternatives and NIIF.

On Khan's joining, AZB Co-Founder and Managing Partner Zia Mody said,
