Promode Murugavelu has left Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas with his team of associates to join Khaitan & Co as a Partner.

Murugavelu is a 2006 graduate of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata.

With over 17 years of experience, he specializes in M&A, PE, and general corporate advisory. He has previously worked with leading law firms such as Dua Associates, Tatva Legal and the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas.

Executive Director Amar Sinhji said on Murugavelu's joining,
