The Estee Lauder Companies appoints Sandesh Kasabe as Director – Legal

He joins ELCA Cosmetics after a stint at L'Oréal India Private Limited, where he served as Lead Legal & Compliance (AGM) for supply chain operations and corporate functions.

Sandesh Kasabe has joined ELCA Cosmetics, the Indian arm of The Estée Lauder Companies, as Director – Legal, becoming part of the prestige beauty group's India leadership team.

Kasabe announced the move on LinkedIn, stating that he has joined ELCA Cosmetics and will be part of its India leadership team.

He described the transition into the prestige beauty segment as a “deeply rewarding milestone.”

He joins ELCA Cosmetics after a stint at L'Oréal India Private Limited, where he served as Lead Legal & Compliance (AGM) for supply chain operations and corporate functions.

In that role, he advised on enterprise-wide legal matters spanning HR, IT, finance, procurement and sustainability, while overseeing pan-India compliance, data privacy and litigation.

Prior to this, Kasabe spent nearly nine years at Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, where he handled product claims, brand protection, intellectual property disputes, regulatory compliance and litigation strategy. He has also worked with Merck India and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Kasabe holds a Master of Business Laws from National Law School of India University and an LL.B. from Lala Lajpat Rai Law College, Mumbai.

He is also an Associate Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has completed certifications in intellectual property rights and advertising standards.
