Former Trilegal Counsel Anirudh Kapoor has joined J. Sagar Associates as a Partner in corporate practice at the firm's Gurugram office.

Kapoor is a 2012 graduate of the National Law University, Jodhpur.

Kapoor's areas of expertise include private equity investments, debt financing and general corporate advisory. He has managed and assisted a wide range of matters which has involved work relating to structuring investments, restructuring of distressed assets, due diligence, drafting of transaction documents (such as the shareholders agreement, share subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, debt / security documents etc.) and providing all other legal assistance up to execution and closing. He has also assisted in different litigation matters involving mutual funds, insolvency/winding up, share transfer and shareholder disputes.

Prior to joining JSA, Kapoor was a Counsel at Trilegal for nearly 11 years.

With his joining, JSA’s partnership expands to 117.
