Alpha Partners has announced the joining of Vikram Raj as a Partner for heading its food & retail (regulatory & litigation) practice vertical.

Raj started his career with Nishith Desai Associates and moved on to be an in-house counsel for various companies such as Godrej, Wipro, Marico and Avenue Supermarts Ltd (D Mart).

He has also been recognized as “General Counsel (Retail Category)” by Indian National Bar Association in General Counsel Summit 2018.

A 2005 graduate from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Raj has over 16 years of experience in working as a consultant as well as in house counsel in top FMCG/ retail companies and has extensive experience in food and retail regulatory & litigation, advising companies on compliances under various regulatory laws, setting up retail outlets for large retail chains, franchises and food companies as well as trademark filing and prosecution.
