Dhir & Dhir Partner, Purti Marwah leaves firm after 13 years to set up independent practice

Dhir & Dhir Partner, Purti Marwah has left the firm to set up an independent practice with a group of lawyers and chartered accountants.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Purti confirmed that she has left the firm and said, “I have been instrumental in the growth of the firm but now I decided to move on and set up my own independent practice.”

Purti joined Dhir & Dhir in 2001 after working with Singhania & Co. for a year, and was made Partner in 2005.

A graduate of Campus Law Centre, Purti also holds a LL.M. from Delhi University. Her areas of practice include matters relating to Distressed Entities, Restructuring of Companies under SICA, Corporate Disputes, securitization matters.

She also handles International and Domestic Arbitration including Investment Arbitrations and related litigation before Courts.

Commenting on the move, Dhir & Dhir Managing Partner Alok Dhir said, “We wish her the best”.
