A video clip of a virtual hearing at the Delhi High Court has been going viral on social media for all the wrong reasons.

In the video, a man in lawyer's attire can be seen getting intimate with a woman for a few seconds. Social media handles are representing the man as a judge but the same is not correct.

A closer look at a screenshot of the hearing shows a sub-window that says 'Court of HMJ Jyoti Singh' which has led many to arrive at the conclusion that the man in question is a judge.

The clip is from the October 14 hearing before Justice Jyoti Singh of the Delhi High Court, one of the many woman judges at the High Court.

The judge's video feed was not switched on at the relevant moment. The lawyer seen in the video was one of the many parties appearing before the Court virtually.

While it is not clear whether he forgot to switch off his video or whether he was added to the virtual hearing from the Court's end inadvertently, the man in question is a lawyer and not a judge.

The fact that the sub-window on the virtual screen with the name 'Court of HMJ Jyoti Singh' appeared right above the offending lawyer led many to believe the lawyer in the video to be the judge holding court.
