Khaitan & Co moves to a larger office space in Bangalore

Khaitan & Co. has recently moved from its existing office at Sunrise Chambers to a bigger office space in Simal Building on Ulsoor road in Bangalore. The firm has moved to a new and more spacious office pursuant to the recent partner hires and expansion in the office.

The new office space will provide improved facilities for the increasing number of clients and the lawyers.

Rajiv Khaitan, local resident Partner in a statement said, “We are delighted with our new office space. Not only there is room for our growing number of lawyers, but we also have more of meeting rooms and space available to provide for our clients and visiting lawyers when they are in Bangalore on business. Office space and infrastructure is also a key element towards our outlook of aggressive expansions in Bangalore.”

Rabindra Jhunjhunwala, Partner said “This move is the latest in the ongoing re-shaping of our offices across all cities. In Bangalore, this follows the recent lateral hires to strengthen our local capability. ”

The firm now comprises of over 290 professionals.

In May, Khaitan & Co. had hired co-founder of PAV Law Offices, Abhilekh Verma as Partner in its Bangalore office and thereafter in August, the firm had hired Anindita Phukan also as Partner in its Bangalore office. Khaitan Bangalore office now has four partners.

Khaitan & Co., Delhi office had also recently expanded its office space and had relocated its litigation team to the new space to provide improved facilities for Khaitan’s increasing number of clients and partners.
