The Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) will hold its 2026 Annual Conference in New Delhi from February 25 to 28, marking its return to the Indian capital after 14 years.

IPBA is a 35-year-old international association focused on business, legal and policy issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Its membership spans more than 65 countries.

The annual conference is expected to bring together lawyers, in-house counsel and policy professionals to discuss key developments affecting the APAC region, alongside networking and social events.

The 2026 theme, “The Future of Law: Agility, Creativity & Change,” reflects recent shifts in the legal industry, particularly the rapid adoption of generative artificial intelligence. The programme is expected to examine how law firms and legal professionals are responding to technological change, evolving client expectations and new regulatory challenges.

According to organisers, conference will feature sessions across practice areas, with delegates sharing practical insights and experience.

The event will also include cultural and networking engagements showcasing India’s economic growth, technological development and expanding global role.

Priti Suri, Founder and Managing Partner Priti Suri & Associates (PSA), who is the first woman President-Elect of IPBA from India, said:

IPBA is recognised as the foremost platform for business lawyers across Asia and the Pacific, bringing together professionals from more than 65 jurisdictions to foster dialogue and collaboration. As IPBA returns to Delhi in 2026, it is both a homecoming after a long hiatus and a celebration of India’s growing leadership in global law. I am deeply honored to serve as the first woman President-Elect from India and committed to carry forward the legacy into the next chapter while advancing the Association’s mission of building bridges through law on the global stage.”
