Advocate Devvrat elected president of Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association

Advocates Nikhil Jain and Yugandhara Pawar Jha were elected as vice president and secretary respectively.

Advocate Devvrat has been elected as the new president of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA).

Nikhil Jain was elected vice president, while Yugandhara Pawar Jha was elected secretary of the association.

Devvrat defeated advocate Shivaji M. Jadhav in a two-way contest for the president's post.

Jain had three other candidates contesting against him for vice president, while Pawar Jha was among four candidates in the secretary's race.

The elections were conducted by the SCAORA election committee. A total of 58 candidates contested the elections across various posts.

The posts of Secretary, Joint Treasurer, and two Executive Committee positions were reserved for women candidates pursuant to directions issued by the Supreme Court on April 13.
