Four High Court judges appointed to National Green Tribunal as judicial members

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension on December 17 approved the proposal to appoint the four judges with a pay scale of Rs. 2,25,000.

Four High Court judges, two sitting and two retired, have been appointed as judicial members of the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

The four judges so appointed are retired Justice Brijesh Sethi of the Delhi High Court, Justice B Amit Sthalekar of the Allahabad High Court, Justice M Sathyanarayanan of the Madras High Court and retired Justice Sudhir Agarwal of the Allahabad High Court.

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension on December 17 approved the proposal to appoint the four judges with a pay scale of Rs. 2,25,000.

They have been appointed for a period of 4 years or till they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
