Supreme Court Collegium recommends transfer of four Punjab and Haryana High Court judges

The Collegium had proposed these transfers on August 3 for the ‘better administration of justice.' The decision was made public on Thursday evening.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of four Punjab and Haryana High Court judges to four other High Courts.

The following are the four judges who have been recommended for a transfer to different High Courts:

The Collegium had proposed these transfers on August 3 for the ‘better administration of justice.'

A resolution to this effect was uploaded on Thursday evening, along with a string of other resolutions transferring various other judges to various High Courts.

Sources had indicated earlier this month that such a major reshuffle of High Court judges was on the cards, with the Supreme Court Collegium looking to recommend the transfer of twenty-five judges.
